About Tundra Grey Limestone Tiles & Pavers – Shotblasted
Tundra Grey Limestone “no surface holes” with a shotblasted surface and slightly tumbled edges. These Tundra grey limestone tiles have a natural non slip surface making them exceptionally good for use as outdoor tiles. There are no holes present in the surface of the tiles, which only adds to their natural stunning effect.
What does Shotblasted mean?
When stone pavers have been shotblasted, it means the stone surface has been shot with thousands of tiny stone pellets to create a slightly rougher texture. Shotblasted pavers are highly sought after (especially for pool pavers and other outdoor wet areas) because they have an improved higher non-slip rating.
Shotblasting also lightens and evens the surface colour of the stone. As a result, shotblasted pavers are popular particularly with our landscaper and architect customers because the more understated tones easily compliments seamless contemporary styling.
Please Note: Each of these striking limestone pavers have tumbled edges that embody the contemporary wabi-sabi natural aesthetic. This creates a warmer look rather than sharp straight machine-cut edges.
